Parts name

First, let’s get to know the names of these parts.In our previous article, we discussed the difference between big vertical machines and small vertical machines, and here we will mainly talk about large vertical machines.

First you need to pull up the pressure film wheel handle, when you hear a click, stop pulling.Now the pressure film wheel stays impending.

Release the handle and take the film holder out, then put the packing film into the Axle, the packing film should be in the middle.

Next, you need to put the film holder back, locking the Handle.

Hold the pressure film wheel handle, pull the Ring-pull, put down the pressure film wheel handle slowly. Congratulations! The packaging film is now installed.

Safety Precautions

Next we will start the machine,If you are a novice in machine operation, then I would like to remind you of the following points,this is very important:

Make sure the machine is installed & debugged well before mass production.

Make sure there is no other goods around or near the machine system.

Do not open the electrical box if the machine is with power.

Make sure there is an operator in the site when the machine was running.

Do not touch the sealing device and working parts of the machine when it’s running.

Next,turn on the power and select your language on the screen.Then you just need to set the product parameters on the screen, press the ON button, and you can start packaging your products.The settings of these parameters will be explained in the machine’s manual, and I can also briefly introduce them to you below.If you want to stop the machine, click the OFF button

On the product line, you can set the weight and speed. Obviously, you need to set the weight of the product you want to pack and the desired speed here.

Click the FILLING button once, and the color will turn green, indicating that it is connected well with packer and will work synchronously; If you click again, and the color will turn orange, indicating that it is not connected to the packaging machine.

Rectify a deviation: Click“←” “→”to make the bag is packed well; If the bag is over left,click Right sign,If over right,click for left.

The TOTAL OUTPUT button can set the total production capacity quantity.

The BATCH OUTPUT button can set the total production capacity quantity of each working.

If you set a BATCH OUTPUT, the machine will stop when the production capacity is finished.

When you are running the machine, if a function has a problem, the STOPPING or ALARM alarm sign will be displayed. The following is the information you can refer to when these alarm signs light up, and you need to make adjustments to the machine based on this information.

TEMPERATURE: When the required temperature differs from the set temperature by more than 5℃, an alarm sign will appear to avoid wasting packaging film.

FILM: When there is a problem with the servo, an alarm sign will appear and the machine will stop working.

EYEMARK: when the color code is set, the photocell eye can not detect the color code, an alarm sign will appear and the machine will stop working (the “TIMES” on the right indicates the number of detections allowed. If it exceeds, the alarm will be activated)

Packaging film: When there is no packaging film, there will be an alarm sign and the machine will stop working (the “TIMES” on the right indicates the number of detections allowed before the alarm, generally 3-5 times).

Common Problems & Solutions

In addition, we have summarized the common errors and solutions during operation, hoping to help you.

  • If you click the ON button but the machine does not work, you can first check whether the “Emergency” button is reset, and the Frequency converter,Servo controller display RC.

Then do the following: 1. Reset “Emergency”

  1. Turn off the power for 20 minutes and restart.
  • If the digital oftemperature control meter jump repeatedly, the thermocouple may be loose or damaged. You need to tighten or replace the thermocouple. (If it is our company’s machine, the tool box that comes with the machine will contain the tools you need.)
  • If yourbag packaging is not sealed and material leaks, there may be several reasons:
  1. Temperature is not enough
  2. Pressure is not enough
  3. Sealing time is not enough
  4. Front and back roller seals not neat
  5. Stuffing

After finding the problem, we can take measures according to the problem:

  1. Rise temperature properly.
  2. Check that the total pressure is 0.65Mpa.
  3. Increase the sealing time.
  4. Carefully adjust the sealing parallelism.
  5. Adjust thematerialfeeding time or inflation delay.
  • If thebag cannot be cut or cut in half, the reasons are as follows:
  1. photoelectric misoperation causes packaging film edge puckering or light quality problems
  2. Improper adjustment of the sensitivity of the photoelectric detector
  3. The bag length setting is not enough, causing uneven packaging

Likewise, we will give you the following suggestions for adjustment:

  1. Replace the packaging film
  2. Readjust the photoelectric sensitivity
  3. Increase the bag length setting
  • There is another common error that customers often ask us about, that is, the film feeding is not smooth. There are usually the following reasons:
  1. The film loaning cylinder pressure is not enough or too high
  2. The belt is slipping or damaged
  3. The packaging film has too much static electricity

After finding the cause, what you need to do is:

  1. Check whether theload film pressure is 0.65Mpa
  2. Use blades to shave the fur surface or replace it
  3. Replace the packaging film

Finally, let’s talk about some machine maintenance.

Machine Maintenance

1) Before starting or shutting down the machine, you need to clean the machine carefully. If you are in the food manufacturing industry, the parts where food passes must be strictly disinfected to ensure food safety.

2) Before starting work, please check the oil tank air three junctions are kept in 1/3 above, if less than 1/3, should be injected 20 # pure oil to about 1/2 of the tank.

3) 20# engine oil should be added to the horizontal seal bracket every day

4) After work, you should remove the unused packaging film to prevent the bracket tube from bending.

5) If you find material on the vertical seal or horizon seal when starting the machine, you must immediately stop the machine and clean the vertical seal or horizon seal tooth surface with a copper brush.
