How Does Cup Filling Machine Work?

K cup filling and sealing machines have little variability in how they work. That’s because they follow a general principle to transform empty cups into finished, sealed coffee pods.

[Transmission and template traction system]

Including a linear gap transmission system consisting of a drive motor, a reducer, and a stable transmission device, as well as a traction transmission chain, a positioning device, an aluminum template, etc. There is a stainless steel plate under the aluminum film plate to support the smooth operation of the cup;

[Automatic cup dropping system]

It is mainly completed by pneumatic devices. The system consists of pneumatic components, cup storage racks, positioning and cup separation devices, etc. It is completed by sending a signal when the template stops to synchronize the control action, which is stable and efficient.

[Automatic filling system]

Adopts piston quantitative filling system, and the filling volume can be adjusted from 50-500ml.

[Automatic cap placing and pressing system]

It is mainly completed by pneumatic devices. The system consists of pneumatic components, cap storage racks, positioning and cap separation devices, etc. It is completed by sending a signal when the template stops to synchronize the control action, which is stable and efficient.

Intelligent temperature control and precise sealing

Using constant temperature (intelligent temperature control) hot pressing sealing technology, the sealing pressure is adjustable to ensure the sealing of cup films of different materials and avoid leakage or excessive heating to damage the packaging.

Efficient and stable production performance

The sealing speed reaches 1500-1600 cups/hour, taking into account both production capacity and stability; the electrical box is made of 304 stainless steel plate (1.0 thick), with a high protection level, suitable for long-term continuous operation.

High-precision photoelectric eye alignment system

Equipped with a photoelectric eye tracking device, it automatically corrects the position of the film pattern and the cup mouth, achieves accurate pattern alignment, and improves product aesthetics and brand recognition.

Durable and anti-corrosion body structure

The whole machine is welded with high-quality 304 stainless steel square tubes (50*50, wall thickness 2.8mm). Key components such as stainless aluminum are cast by special technology. The film cutting system is equipped with stainless steel tooth knives, which are corrosion-resistant and have a long service life.

Flexible movement and precise positioning

The bottom is equipped with movable steering wheels and positioning devices, which facilitate quick adjustment and fixation of the equipment, meet the flexible layout requirements of the workshop, and improve the convenience of operation.

FAQ About Automatic Cup Filling Machine

The equipment is equipped with an intelligent temperature control system. The temperature can be set through the control panel (usually in the range of 100~250℃) and adjusted according to the cup film material (such as PP, PE, aluminum foil, etc.) to ensure that the seal is firm and does not burn the material.

First clean the photoelectric eye lens and check whether the film roll pattern is printed evenly; fine-tune the correction parameters through the control panel. If it is still offset, it may be a sensor failure and you need to contact our after-sales service team.

 The stainless steel toothed blade can be disassembled and polished or replaced (spare blades are recommended); regularly clean the residual film scraps in the blade groove to avoid affecting the cutting effect.

It supports common composite films (such as PET/PE, PP/AL/PE, etc.), but it is necessary to ensure that the film width and thickness match the equipment parameters. Special materials (such as high barrier films) need to test the sealing effect in advance.
